Role Profile 

The role of an Improvement Practitioner is to lead small projects or play a key role in a larger programme, covering issues that may be quick to resolve or challenges that may require more in depth analysis.  
 
This qualification allows you to share best practices and support the application of techniques to ensure that the customer is always the priority.  
 
What you will learn: 
Team formation and leadership, project selection and scope. 
Project management, compliance, presentation and reporting. 
Change management, principles and methods. 
Process mapping, data analysis, measurement systems, basic stats and measures. 
Process capability and performance 
Problem definition and root cause analysis 
Experimentation, identification and prioritisation. 

End-point assessment – What is this? 

Once an apprentice has completed their apprenticeship, they will be ‘signed off’ by their employer/ provider as ready for end-point assessment of their knowledge and practical capabilities. In most cases, the assessment will be graded and must show the apprentice is fully competent and productive in the occupation. This is conducted by an external independent body. 
 
End Point Assessment consists of: 
Multiple choice test 
Project report; presentation and questioning 
Professional discussion
